The ostriches' egg measures 17 to 19 cm in length, and 14 to 15 cm in width. It weighs up to 1 900 g. It is quite big, however, it is very small compared to the body size of the bird. The egg is white to yellowish white in color. On farms, the average egg production is 15-60 eggs per female. Most ostrich eggs of these birds are incubated by the breeders.
